Lodge farm is beautifully situated in the tranquil, rolling countryside of rural Norfolk. Built in the 1840’s as a farm and hunting lodge for the Earls of Leicester, many of the orignal features remain and the interior decor manages to combine contempory comforts with a traditional feel.
Close to the picturesque village of Castle Acre, this family farm house, run by the Thompson family, offers supurb views in comfortable and relaxed seclusion. The location of the farmhouse offers easy access to many footpaths and bridalways, including the peddars way and nar valley. Perfect for keen ramblers, cyclists and horse riders. It is also a short drive to beautiful beaches of the north Norfolk coast, the race course at Fakenham and the market town of Swaffham, along with the rest of Norfolk’s great attractions.
Breakfast at Lodge Farm is always a special affair, using local sourced produce, including our own free range eggs, means that the food is as fresh as possible and any dietary requirements are happily catered for.
